my flick book

this is my own book, I really think it turned out well, however the animation of it is very short and choppy, so ideally I should of had more pages (frames) o well enjoy!

Flick books.

First weekly project to get on with. We have to make two flick books, one in a small group and a individual one. The group one was based on whatever we decided to lead on from each others ends. As a result the outcome was very, random and interesting with lots of scenes that where completely unique to each other, with a smooth transition in between. For my individual one i made a dancing creature, for some reason, it turned out looking pretty funny.

This images are from some of the more interesting placed in birmingham. I drew them in a drive-by sketch manner. They are all quite rough, but I wanted to try to capture the sense of the place rather than make neat sketches, in some images this has work and in others it hasn't. I made a point of using different materials in drawing each of them.
